To browse Web pages on your local network, type the computer name of the Web server in the address box at the top of this browser. For example if the server is named \\CorpNet, type: CorpNet

To connect to the Internet through an Internet Service Provider, you need a modem or ISDN adapter and information from your service provider. You also need to install the TCP/IP network protocol and Remote Access Service (RAS) from the Network Control Panel applet under Start/Settings/Control Panel.

To connect to the Internet through your local computer network, you need a network adapter card and information about the proxy server on your network. Contact your system administrator if you don't have the proxy server information. You also need to install the TCP/IP network protocol on your machine.
